Philadelphia Flower Show

The 190th PHS Philadelphia Flower Show will pay tribute to the enormous impact of flowers on our lives. From the first blooms of spring in your home garden to the expansive fields that fuel whole economies, flowers influence how we feel, think and act in small and global ways. Exhibits will take a holistic approach to the theme with sweeping landscapes and artful interpretations that inspire, convey emotions, examine fragrance and color and convey a universal language. This tour includes a guided Philadelphia tour with a costumed guide and time at the famous Redding Terminal Market. Hidden Gems of Boston

Corsets and Top Hats Not Required In Newport

Today you will meet Mrs. Caroline Astor, the Grande Dame of Newport and New York Society in the late 1800’s. Mrs. Astor is the step on guide who will take us on a time-travel Gilded Age tour of Newport along the famous Ten-Mile Ocean Drive. Next you will visit Marble House, the “Summer Cottage of Mrs. Alva Vanderbilt and then we are off to lunch at Johnny’s Restaurant, a reincarnation of Newport’s legendary Atlantic Beach Club.
